Kelsey's Do Good Award

LIWKNN founder Kelsey Nicole Nelson is a Boys and Girls Club "kid" that attended many camps, daycares and after school programs growing up. Between spending her summers in Jackson, Miss. and growing up during the school year int he DMV many helping hands helped to mold her. Kelsey never forgets the impact of the Sonny Kids Award she received as a child, after a beloved BCCGW member "Sonny" Buchanan was murdered by the D.C. Sniper. The tragic and horrific events pulled the community closer together during the biggest time of need.
