Kelsey Nicole Nelson is a multi award-winning broadcast journalist, sports reporter and radio personality who has covered the WNBA Finals, NBA Finals and the Super Bowl interviewing some the world’s top athletes.
Kelsey is commonly seen and heard as the host of The Draft Network's "The Money Down" NFL Show and she is a co-host for Tony McGee's Pro Football Plus TV Show on the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN). Kelsey also worked as a digital/broadcast host for the Washington Football Team hosting the team's Unfiltered series which aired on their digital platforms and NBC Sports Washington.
Kelsey has also worked with ESPN Radio, NASCAR, SB Nation, DC Radio, the Big East Digital Network, Arena Football League and the National Sports Media Association.
Kelsey is the Founder/President of the community action project Books Breaking Borders: Books to End Educational Bankruptcy. Today she volunteers her time with Special Olympics, the Urban Health Media Project, Richard Wright Public Charter School for Journalism and Media arts and students at the University of Maryland. Kelsey is also an active member on the leadership teams of the Washington Association of Black Journalists and National Association of Black Journalists Sports Task Force.
Kelsey is a graduate of the Philip H. Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland-College Park and the Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies. Today she also teaches "Intro to Radio and Podcasting."
Michael has been a member of the "Listen In With KNN" production team since the show's inception in 2017. He currently serves as the voiceover talent and writer for the program.
In addition, Mike is a two-plus decade veteran of the journalism industry. He currently serves as a Radio News Anchor and Reporter for WSHU Public Radio in Fairfield, Connecticut, at New England Public Media (WFCR-FM) in Springfield, Massachusetts and at WTIC News/Talk 1080 in Hartford, Connecticut.
Mike is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and serves as the Vice President of Broadcast at the Southern New England Association of Black Journalists. He is a four-time recipient of the Connecticut AP Broadcasters Association award and a two-time recipient of the Connecticut Society of Professional Journalists Award.
A New Jersey native who resides in Hartford, Connecticut, Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Howard University in Washington, D.C., and a Master's degree in Journalism from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He is also currently serving as an adjunct professor at Quinnipiac University.
